Gurren is Kamina's car, which he found in the woods. He pushed it back to the village himself, and now it's his hope and home. He sold his house, and keeps the money he made from it safely hidden somewhere until he can finally leave. His dream is to get Gurren running again and travel the world, in hopes of finding the father who left him in Hinamizawa.
Gurren is red, if you can manage to see the paint under all the rust. Recently, he's painted the Gurren Brigade logo on the hood of the car, in preparation for whenever he finally gets to leave town. On rainy or cold nights, you'll find him curled up in the back seat under his cape. If weather is permitting, he'll sleep on top of the car. In the trunk are all of his clothes, as well as a katana and various mechanical pieces. He doesn't know jack shit about cars, but that's not going to stop him, is it? |
